Strengthening Rural Health Systems for Equitable and Quality Care
The Partnership for Sustainable Development Nepal (PSDN) is committed to strengthening rural health systems to ensure equitable access to quality healthcare for communities that remain underserved and geographically isolated across Nepal. Recognizing persistent gaps in essential health services, PSDN supports public health facilities by enhancing their capacity to deliver safe, reliable, and patient-centered care.
Through strategic partnerships, PSDN has provided critically needed medical supplies and equipment to 10 health facilities nationwide, improving service readiness, diagnostic capability, and treatment outcomes. Implemented in collaboration with Project C.U.R.E., these interventions directly contribute to strengthening primary healthcare services and improving the quality of care at the community level.
By reinforcing frontline health facilities and supporting health system resilience, PSDN’s initiatives align with Nepal’s national health priorities and global commitments to Universal Health Coverage and the Sustainable Development Goals, ensuring no one is left behind in access to essential healthcare services.
